Perseverance in my Garden ~ Day 350

Perseverance is defined as… steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.

The flowers in my garden are persevering through the fall. No matter the weather some of them seem to hold on longer than others. The Japanese Honeysuckle is one of these plants that steadily blooms through October. I snapped this photo this morning while out chaining the bird bath water. Surprised to see this beauty.

When I see these blooms continuing to bloom for months, it gives me hope. Hope that if they can do it, so can I, no matter the obstacles. Nature is very therapeutic.
