Love ItLove It

Passing the hat

Normally this game is played standing   These seniors did it sitting  They were old and many had issues with their health.

They were all excited and I hoped their blues were wiped away atleast for some time.  They are the bitter lot.  Most have been abandoned by their children. They surely have stories to tell about  why they are here rather than be with their children.  This state of affairs is quite common these days.  Most Indians leave the shores seeking greener pastures and parents are the ones who sometimes encourage them. The seniors are left to fend for themselves.

  • Do you think children should have better plans for their parents?

  1. My husband and I work hard to provide for ourselves and retirement, our children and their future. We want to live sufficiently comfortable and independently in our old age.

I feel so much for many elderly people who have forgotten about themselves while they were working hard for their children and their future.
