Aside from the versatile coconut, the palm tree also gives us the fronds which have many uses. In the rural provinces, they make balls for playing with the palm frond as the material. There’s also the cooking of rice inside the small basket made of palm frond. But the most important for me is the use of the fronds for roofing of the mountain hut. That kind of roof is still being used today.

I miss coconut palms.
They are so beautiful in a gentle breeze.
The ones you hold look like decorative palm fronds. How do they cook rice in baskets, won’t the palms burn up?
We have several trees in our garden and also know of the many uses of a coconut tree
I think maybe Florida and California has these.
Palm trees grow only by the sea here, and I don’t know if they are coconuts
