(09 Nov 2019) Pakistan has become the champion of Amateur Snooker, Muhammad Asif of Pakistan has won the World Snooker Championship. In the Champions Trophy final, Muhammad Asif defeated Geoffrey Rhoda of Philippines by 8.5 frames.
Mohammad Asif has become World Snooker Champion for the second time. Expressing happiness over the victory, Mohammad Asif said, “I thank God, this victory is not for me alone, it is a win for the whole of Pakistan.” He added that for the second time, I will hold the championship and my title in the name of my people and Kashmiris.
