Before there was a flash drive there was a floppy disk.
In 2010, I saw a box of my old disks. They were already unusable. I thought at first that I throw them away. Then I thought I could do something out of them.
So, with some glue and used scratch cards for my pre-paid load for my phone, I was able to make a simple coin box.
This simple creation gave me an idea to ask my students to make something out of some computer-related garbage.
I will share some of their ideas next time.

i still have a floppy drive because I still have a few floppies!!!!
i like to convert old things into something else. I have the front of a Macintosh SE30 on my wall for years!
Wow! And they are still working? I haven’t seen a floppy disk in the market for years now.
you can still buy a drive (USB) and you can buy floppies in some electronic stores. they still work but the failure rate is high now.
Here, people USB or rewritable CDs or DVDs.
