When you are in the hospital for long periods of time, you search for things to talk about that have nothing to do with the current overwhelming situation. Our son must spend hours on line simply looking up odd information. All of his conversations can lead you down a path that is completely random and most often 100% unbelievably correct.
At the hospital yesterday we learned all about “glass frogs”. They are from the family of Centrolenidae. Most of them are lime green with an underbelly that you can see through and look that their “innards”. Of course, I had never heard of it and wasn’t quite sure if he was pulling our leg and finding tall tales to distract us from a stressful situation.
Glass frogs are arboreal. Well I had no idea what arboreal meant. So that sent me on a bit of a wander.
