The first two automatic bids of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Basketball Tournament will be filled later on today. Both games will feature the #1 seed going up against the #2 seed.
The first game will be for the Mountain West Conference (MWC) between the #1 seed San Diego State Aztecs (SDSU) (30-1) and the #2 seed Utah State (USU) Aggies (25-8). This game will have major implications for the NCAA Tournament. The Aztecs need to win so that they will receive a #1 seed. Although Utah State has a pretty good record, their conference record of 12-6 in the weak MWC means that the Aggies have to win this game in order to receive an automatic berth. If Utah State wins, then the Aggies will knock a team off of the bubble.
The second game will be for the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) between the #1 seed Belmont Bruins (25-7) and the #2 seed Murray State Racers (23-8). Both teams are 1-1 against each other this season. Murray State defeated Belmont to win the OVC championship last season. However, Belmont will look to avenge that championship loss tonight.

i agree with Thomas – SDU and Murray State.
The implications, if there are upsets, would be really bad for a bunch of middle of the road teams.
A 16 beat a 1, once because of shuffling.
Utah State could really hurt a bubble team with a win. They have to hit their shots like last year to repeat as champs. My heart is saying Utah State, my mind is going with San Diego State
should pal have listened to your heart!
Going with San Diego State Aztecs & Murray State
I’m torn on the Mountain West game and I’m going with Belmont.
