I had brought some cuttings of bougainvilleas a year ago. These cuttings had flowers with five or six colors on them. White , pale pink, fuchsia pink, green , orange and a yellowish tinge to them. As I was trying to trim of the leaves and flowers for planting they looked like art more than flowers. I decided it was photo shoot time. I liked this particular photo which makes them look like how they looked in reality.
Sadly the cutting grew and bore plain fuchsia pink flowers. I am hoping some day it will produce the flowers it had when I brought it home.
I am disappointed but I will wait.

The photo sure looks like a painting. Never seen so many shades on one plant.
The flowers looked really amazing in the sunlight. I just hope that my plant someday will become what it used to be in the past.
The photo looks like a painting and it is very nice….
Thank you Pamela, that is how I see it.
It looks so beautiful! We had a similar rose, but eventually it started blooming only in pink. I still like it either way.
I think they just go back to being their own true self. Enjoy your rose Ellie925
Unfortunately, there are also many disappointments in life, dear Dawn …. how important it is to deal with problems
Disappointments are a part of life. We need to take the ying with the yang.
Life brings many things that let us down, but have patience my friend.
I will wait patiently, that is what gardening has taught me over the years. 🙂
I think this is plant not painting If I am not wrong
You are right, but the picture I thought looked more like a painting than a plant.
