Love ItLove It

Nature is at it again.

A friend of mine had given me a cutting of the two-tone Pentas that is seen on the left. I have produced many plants from this one cutting and they are all blooming.

On my usual garden stroll I spotted the flower that you see on the right which is a new colour.  Nature has decided to remove the white spots from the exotic Pentas and create this flower. It is bright red while the exotic Pentas is pink with white spots.

Nature is creative and I know she loves pottering around in my garden, springing surprises.

  1. Oh my gosh GRACE!!! Thank you for this post. I had two come up in a cacti that I got from the store. I have been trying to find the name of them for a few years now. Thank you so much, now I know the name. Love that wide angle!
