Roses have a long and rich history. Being a plant spread all over the globe, the stories vary according to country, culture and religion. According to the Christian religion, the rose was not created with thorns. They grew so that the flower could protect itself from the cruelty of people. Whether it is true or not, I have no way of knowing. It’s a story ….

I love red roses, beautiful capture.
A red, red rose, all wet with raindrops is really beautiful. I also love them.
That is a very beautiful rose. I wrote an article on this site called Legends About the Rose.
I think I missed that article. I promise to look for it.🙂
A beautiful rose.
Roses provide a significant income for some countries. Ecuador is one of them. There, half of the area is sown with them. One third of all roses sold in Europe come from Kenya.
Interesting. I didn’t know the roses sold in Europe came from Kenya.
I, too, was very surprised by this fact. I find it amazing that roses would thrive in Kenya.
Stunning rose with drops. I have a special rose bush in Dustin’s garden, as you know.
I know your beautiful roses from Dustin’s garden. Thank Carol!
