I love winter, because it is the season when I got to know the world, but as a photographer, I find it a little boring. In the absence of snow, which has always inspired me to get out of the house for short photo shoots, everything seems gray and gloomy. However, I did not completely give up taking pictures. I try to deal with what I find in the house and experiment with new photography techniques. Most often I take macro shots. Today I tried to photograph textures. Textures are everywhere around us! All we have to do is look at them! I am convinced that not everyone likes such photos but I love them!

“The photographer has almost as much control over his subject matter as a painter. He can control light and shade, form and space, pattern and texture, motion and mood, everything except composition.”– Andreas Feininger

I have no idea what it is, but looks interesting.
I’ll give you a hint! It is part of the fungus family. I will reveal the answer later.
Could this be little Maya perhaps?
It is not Maya! Maybe the black dots could be a clue!?
Looks like fur … hmm …
It looks like fur, but it is not!
