Anemones are flowers belonging to the family Ranunculaceae and comprise about 120 species. We find them cultivated as decorative plants in gardens, blooming in different colors of white, red, pink, blue, purple.
They also appear in the spontaneous flora. I found them in my mother’s in law garden.
Anemone is also known as Easter flower in my area, because it blooms during the Easter period.
The beautiful Anemone flower symbolizes protection against evil and ill wishes.
