Although we are close to the middle of autumn, the roses are still blooming! The Rose is already a symbol, present throughout the history of humankind in legends, fairy tales, art, treatises and catalogs. The statement that this is the most beloved of all the flowers of the earth is not far from the truth. I also love them!
The oldest rose in the world that still flourishes is in Germany. The great rose bush that covers the wall of the Hildesheim Cathedral is over 1000 years old, being documented in the year 815.

I love roses. I have two rose bushes in my front yard. Rarely, do I get any roses though.
