Lake Kawaguchi is located in the border of the towns of Fujikawaguchiko and Minobu in southern Yamanashi Prefecture near Mount Fuji, Japan. It is the second largest of the Fuji Five Lakes in terms of surface area and is located at the lowest elevation. Mount Fuji towers gloriously over the lake in the background.

No, Country Mama sadly I have not seen Kawaguchi. I visited Honshu Island on a military round trip on a warship our company had for the South-African Navy, built, in 1985. So, I was on the other side of Mount Fuji. 😉
Magnificent! Have you been there to see it? i wish hubby and I could one day.
