This mystifying shot was taken as part of the ‘Dronestagram’ travel photography contest. This site is actually one of France’s most distinctive landmarks, it is a monastery, called Mont Saint-Michel, and is a World Heritage Site, of UNESCO. It is located in the Normandy region of France, this well-known commune attracts over 3 million visitors annually. The tiny island has been a strategic fortification since the 8th-century AD.and has been an operational monastery since then.
