When we were kids, the world seemed to be full of wonders. Sometimes I imagined the ships flying out of the clouds and the animals understanding my language, and maybe they were humans for a while, just bewitched.
Now that I am full of universities and scientific knowledge, miracles have disappeared. And animals are only animals, not bewitched people. And there, beyond the clouds, not flying ships, but infinite black space.
The world became so much bigger than it was in my childhood: then it was only I and everything was about me; today, I’m just a crumb in the abyss of space.

I believe in miracles. Every day is a miracle.
I have to believe in miracles because I am a living miracle.
Those are the beautiful days.
