Macro Monday – Snail

I am not a fan of shooting macro photos. For this, I think, needs a good camera. Making macro with a phone is not the same and not always successful.

I searched for any photo in my cloud storage that would fit the macro term and found this snail. Snail reminded of lush greenery, much sunlight,  in a word – summer.

It is so different view outside now that it is hard to believe we had so much greenery. And how seasons are looking messed now… Years ago, we had not any Christmas without white snow cover outside. Now, when I write this, it is raining again… A bit pity we will have not white Christmas but actually, not the snow is most important but what we have within us and share it at the festive table, at the meeting with loved ones.

  1. In one of the episodes of the Brave Wilderness (on YouTube), the host said that snails may have a parasite that can cause meningitis when eaten. I wasn’t sure if he was referring to all species of snails or just the African Giant Snail.
Anyways, with that in mind, I think it’s better not even to try eating them.
