My determination to have zinnias back in my garden got me to go online and buy some zinnia seeds. They all came up and I was dreaming of a zinnia field in my garden.
But that is not what happened. None of the seedlings that I planted yielded despite all the care. This flower that is seen in the photo is the sole zinnia that bloomed and that too in a plastic bag
I have no explanation for this strange behaviour. I carefully stored this flower after it dried on the plant but I cannot trace it now.
No more zinnias unless I start the process all over again. Such is life.

Are there flowers that refuse to show up in your garden?

Yes

No

Also, from time to time, some flowers do not survive. Maybe the seed is wrong.
I wish I knew what goes wrong
There are more little flowers in my garden …. some tulips, daffodils and some other flowers
None of those flowers mentioned by your grow here.
That is a lovely zinnia. At least you have one determined flower. Perhaps you’d do better to buy zinnias that have already bloomed and transplant them in your garden.
We do not get them here, sadly.
