It is after a long time that I attempted growing vegetables in our garden. There was a bit of success. I got long beans, radish, brinjals, lady fingers, green chilies and lots of tomatoes.
The tomatoes were rather small in size and I used them in making salad and added them in some dishes.
In the photo you see the last tomato which I shall pick today and eat it plain. I will not share it with any one??
Success in my garden adds a spring in my step encouraging me to do more.

Do you grow your own vegetables?

No

I own a garden and grow a variety of vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, beans, cucumbers, pumpkins, cauliflower, etc.)
What do you do with the excess? I have that problem sometimes.
I store the vegetables (which can be stored in the freezer) in the freezer. The rest that cannot be stored in the freezer I give to my sister and nephew.
I have my own garden and this year it has produced very well … I had a lot of tomatoes
Tomatoes can always be used. One can even make a sauce and preserve it.
I made some sauces too, dear Grace … more or less I ate fresh in a salad
That tomato looks sad to be left all alone. Back in my garden in Latvia, we had a nice tomato harvest every year.
I am back growing vegetables after a long time and will not overdo
My neighbor kept me in supply of tomatoes all summer, love fresh ones!
So you get to eat fresh tomatoes without growing them yourself. Wow!!
I love growing veggies in my garden. Broccoli didn’t do too well, but my cabbages did extremely well, so did my other usuals.
I know all about your tomato story where you pull out plants as they just crowd your garden (lol)
