If you are a fan of Spanish soccer, then you are in luck. To make up all of their matches due to the coronavirus delay, there will be matches on every day until the middle of July. Today is a doubleheader in which both matches will have an impact on the table.
The first match is 9th place Granada hosting 5th place Getafe. Granada was the early surprise in La Liga as they were on top of the standings for the first two months of the season before falling back to reality. Getafe has been the surprise for the entire season because they were picked to end up in the middle of the back, but they are in the hunt for a European slot.
The second match is 7th place Valencia hosting 13th place Levante. We can call this one the Covid-19 Bowl because both teams have bats in their team logos.
Granada versus Getafe begins at 1:30 PM EST with Valencia versus Levante starting at 4 PM EST. Both matches will be on Bein Sports. However, Bein Sports is not on Xfinity, which means that out of all of the major European soccer leagues, La Liga has the worst TV deal in the USA.
