Properties that are not protected are victims of irresponsible kids that ransack fruit trees. Even before they are ready for harvesting they will throw stones and bring down raw fruits that are often not fit for eating. For them it is a game at the cost of property owners
On the other hand birds will wait patiently until the fruit is ready for harvesting We in fact wait for birds to drop a half eaten mango an indication that it is time for harvesting.
