When I was young there was the junior police that manned the traffic in the main streets. They were grade school students that were trained by the real police for the task. But their work is only for 1 hour in a day and that is equivalent to an extra curricular activity in school that they are exempted from the physical education subject. It would be great if the junior police will be revived for it helps in the development of the child’s sense of responsibility.
