In our first travel abroad, we bought a tour package to Hongkong. We were warned by the tour guide to be careful in buying things abroad because we might be buying fake items. Especially with jewelry, it is a high risk to buy expensive jewelry items. One friend was scammed in an Asian country and that’s a neat lesson for us.

I have no habit to buy jewelry abroad.
Not really, I rarely travel aboard and when I do I don’t buy jewelery.

I don’t really like jewelry, so I don’t think I’ll buy it in foreign country, unless it’s really pretty and handmade which I might not be able to find it in my home country.
I bought some semi precious stones in New Zealand.
