I have missed a lot this season, I missed seeing many of the trees in bloom. Since they have relaxed the lockdown a bit in our area I decided it was time to drive to the remote corners of the city, mainly to keep away from the crowds and to see some of the sights I had missed so much.
Some of the places where we usually drive down to would be crowded, so took some unusual routes. At first I thought it was one wasted outing as I saw no trees in bloom anywhere. Then we hit a lucky patch, and I was so happy to see these amazing golden showers ( cassia Fistula) in bloom.
The flowers indicate it is almost the end of the season by their faded flowers but yet it was a stupendous sight. It made my day. Happiness is seeing golden showers in bloom .

Question of
Did you have great Sunday?
Sunday was great, thanks for asking.
I wonder did you miss anything, or did the world continue without our eyes watching?
I missed the world, the world didn’t miss me for sure.
The old adage, if a tree falls in the forest and no one was there, did it make a sound?
(or my wife’s version if your husband goes off alone in the forest and talks, is he still wrong?)
This is so beautiful and the name golden shower fits so well.
Yes, the name is a perfect fit.
Sunday was a hard day. I was at work. I also avoid the crowd of people. For two evenings I was walking along the alley by the sea. But I was disappointed by the irresponsibility of the people. The required distance is not observed. Now I prefer a walk on the way from my work to home. I stop the car and walk and take pictures.
Its the same here Elenka, irresponsible people , not following social distancing norms or wearing face masks as they ought to. I did not get down from the car most of my pictures were taken from the car window. I only took one or two pictures from close range.
It must have been worth your while for this trip. If nothing else, you were in nature again.
The was the reason fro this trip, just to get closer to nature. It was really worth it.
Yes, it is worth the drive as it brought happiness into your heart. Plants have a way of cheering us up.
They really do, at least for me, I love watching the trees in bloom.
We have had several frosts lately, very rare in May. Many of my blooms are delayed and I hope they return.
That is very sad Carol, I assumed that you were in the middle of spring already.
