It's a Guessing Game

Over and over again I have one person who complains about how much I write. I am not sure what the concern truly is. There are three basic ways to make revenue here that the writer can control.

1. How many posts and what type of posts they write.

2. How many posts they view.

3. How many posts they comment on.

Those are the things the writer has complete control over. Some of the other things they have very little control over. They don’t control how many people read or comment on their posts. They can share on social media, and have no control over who may come to read.

In my personal case, right now, I have 1,289 post on this site. So that means you have 1,289 times to read and comment and earn virils just on my work alone. The value of that “v” changes because there is only so much revenue to share. It seems clear that the more content the more opportunity for everyone to earn. So following simple logic. You would want as many posts on this site to make the most money you could. You need posts to view to maximize your earnings. With that in mind why would you ever say someone writes too much. It just doesn’t make any sense at all.

I am amazed over and over how many people are willing to cut off the now to spite the face. So people keep writing. Don’t let anyone deter you from writing at will. It is simply their loss if they don’t understand the value.

In the same realm of thought, don’t taunt those who just stand on the sidelines and open things up. It must be tedious and you get some value from it.

  1. Sometimes I write “too much” I guess at four or five posts a day. This is generally when I have a lot to say. Other times I don’t write for weeks. Whatever my mood is I guess. And yes, it seems the more posts here, the better. You aren’t writing crap posts, so I don’t know why they are complaining.

    • The someone who complains does it in a very personal and vicious manner. I don’t handle that well. I appreciate thoughtful criticism, and I don’t handle swearing, verbal abuse and attacks on my character very well. I guess that is what is bothering me about it. Thanks for asking.
