I have put a lot of thought into this. Not because I am unhappy here, it is because everything in my workplace changed and so everyone is learning all over again. We are all making suggestions and wishing for things as they were. (Even though we complained about those too.)
Honestly, the one thing I would change here is the up vote button. I would only have it on those posts where it meant something, like change order on lists and that fun stuff. Why, well I appreciate that someone upvoted, but it was probably just to remind them that they had opened it and given me a bunch of things I have to delete.

Here is what I would do. I wish I could write a satire piece of the sports world games with the name ” The View From Ancon Hill” to make tongue in cheek commentaries of the National Football League and National Basketball Association shows that are as entertaining as lack of people knowing who are my original characters that I write for my fan fictions.

I do not know if it would qualify as a blog that the powers that be would want as “something beautiful.”
I would get rid of downvote if possible, or request for it to removed. It doesn’t explain why a piece of writing was downvoted. Because those who do so don’t offer an explanation in the comment, why they downvoted an article.
Well, there is a place for the down vote. For example an open lists were you are picking your favorite it changes the orders of the lists and those are fun to do and write (not that anyone here gets it, but they are fun when people understand them.
