The flowers are fine and it’s the chair that keeps me coming back to this picture. I have heard the saying many times “if these walls could talk”, but I want to hear what the chairs woudl have to say. In our home almost all “real” conversations happened sitting around the dinner table in chairs that looked much like this one. My Mom painted them over and over.
It is odd how a simple piece of furniture can bring back a flood of memories.

I love it too, the chairs and the flowers.
The photo is so nice, and all it took was a simple decoration to be placed on it
First off, that is a beautiful picture. That flower arrangement on this, sorry, old chair is captivating. Of course, we sometimes talk sitting down for dinner (supper here in Canada). But all in all, I do not enjoy it very much because everybody talk at the same time and then I have problem unravelling who is saying what and is it directed towards me or not. But that is just me. I am not a very socially inclined person. I would much rather sit and eat by myself every day and talk to myself. At least that way, I know who is talking to me and I can answer appropriately.
Many things can call our memories into the past, on certain occasions and memories, and such chairs, I think it has a strong pull.
