It was quite enjoyable being in the loop organizing this event – a get together of ex-colleagues. Being a senior there – having put in 22 years of service – I could help them with a lot of information, including photos and a video of memories which I put together.
I do not travel long distances anymore and therefore could not be present at this event. Photos and videos are pouring in bringing back memories. Had a long chat on the phone with one of my ex bosses who came all the way from the US.
This is a small group compared to the actual strength of the Department where I was working. Although I did not attend the event I feel I was there because of my involvement.

I’m still in contact with some of my colleagues. We have worked together for over 40 years.
I am more in contact with classmates. I do have a few colleagues I interact with.
I always have a connection with some of them.
While I was collecting data for this Meet I came to know so many who are no more.
You never forget a company of a good friend.
That is too bad after all that you did for the event that you could not be there.
I knew I was not going to attend but this involvement gave me a lot of satisfaction.
