Love ItLove It

I am addicted..

I am addicted. I am totally addicted to learning and using new words. I typically use them in writing because the people I live with are not remotely interested in learning new words. (Well, the words probably are not new, but new to me.)

Anyway the new word I learned today~ skelf ~

MEANING:noun:1. A splinter.2. A tiny amount of something.3. A thin or slight person.4. An annoying or troublesome person.

(The picture looked to me like you could get a splinter if you handled the wood. And some of the pieces look like a tiny amount of something.)

Now if I could dd another picture to this post it would be an empty frame so that you could put in the picture of the person you thought was annoying or troublesome today.

  1. I always like to keep learning new things and new words. I signed up for Dictionary.com and they send me a word every day and then on Mondays I get a quiz for the previous week’s words. It is a fun experience. Most likely in the frame, I would put my cat Sid, he is the only one who demands things of me.
