How to Improve Your Mood in 5 Minutes

Is it possible to improve your entire mood in just five minutes? Absolutely. You can not control what is happening around you, you can control how you react to it and what your next move might be. 

  1. Ask yourself, what can I control? My breathing take 5 slow deep breaths.

  2. Roll your shoulders.

  3. Make a firm decision that this is the not worst thing that has or “may” ever happen to you. Really, you can imagine something worse if your life depended on it.

  4. Ask yourself, do I really want to give control of my feelings to other people or circumstances?

  5. It has not even been 5 minutes are you right on track to improving your mood and taking control.

Life is pretty simple, just step back and pay attention.
