Hey, guys, today I am going to explain how I manage to make around $4 per 1000 views on YouTube. Basically, I have been on YouTube for more than 2 years, and currently, I have 12k+ subscribers on my YouTube channel “Life Science facts.”
I have noticed drastic changes on my Youtube analytics: my current CPM (cost per mille, the amount of money paid per 1000 views) on recent videos is from $4 to $7, which means I can expect an average of $3-$4 for every 1000-2000 views. Now, the question is, how was I able to increase that much CPM on videos? The answer is watch time.
Yes, the higher the watch time is, the higher the CPM on your videos is. An average viewer spends 5-6 minutes on my videos, which is already a good sign for making more money in fewer views.
I want to give you some advice if you are a YouTuber: make videos that last more than 10 minutes, so that you can insert at least three ads in every of them.
I hope you like my article. You may share your doubts regarding YouTube in the comments.
