Hope doesn’t just happen. It must be cultivated. What does that mean, well try to acquire or develop (a quality, sentiment, or skill). It is something you have to learn and work at until you can really feel it. So what is this hope we are talking about?
Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Hope is an aspiration.
Hope is a yearning.
Hope is an expectation.
Hope is blessing.
Hope is a wish.
Hope is a dream.
Hope is a plan.
Hope is a longing.
Hope is an ambition.
How can this be cultivated? Well, why don’t we start small. It raining and cold outside my window. The thunder is loud and abrasive, not my favorite experience. How can I cultivate hope?
“I hope I see the rainbow.”
“I am grateful for the water.”
“I hope my bed is soft and warm.”
“I hope the rain washes away the smoke in the air.”
That rainstorm isn’t so bad, I have a little hope.
