It is engaging and interesting watching the unfurling of the cluster of ficus palm leaves. We have several such palms in our garden.
Recently we had a set back in that those tiny butterflies or moths used to be ready and waiting to gobble up the tender leaves the moment they showed up. But the palm never relented. The clusters kept showing up.
Hopefully I do not see those insects around and am keeping my fingers crossed.

I don’t have palms but neighbors do. Good luck with insects.
They are like tiny butterflies. I do not know what they are called.
It looks nice in your garden!
We have many of those as they multiply very fast.
I haven’t palm but good to see in your garden.
Thanks. We have many other type of palms too
we have few palm in our old home…
What kind of palms are those that grow in your native home?
Must be a beautiful sight to see. Unfortunately palms don’t grow here but we do get some as house plants.
In about a month’s time the leaves turn a dark green colour and are fully open.
