Kim has a fun August challenge. you can read about it here: Flora or Fauna. Or just write about animals or flowers or both. Easy for me to do. My two cats, Brendel and the Dude, enjoy the screen room year round. The chaise is usually where I relax. If they beat me to it, they claim it and I can’t blame them. It is pretty relaxing to sit and watch the birds from this spot. But there are other spots and when the camera turns off, I will re-claim my spot. Such fun to have cats and dogs. They are such loyal companions and never judge you. I miss my dogs but for now am enjoying my two fur babies. Have a great day all!

Say Hi to them for me! I have no idea what it would be like to live without animals around me.
I will Kim. Of course Brendel is sleeping but the Dude is my shadow.
Yes… yes… yes…
Pets a part of my life even though I need to be wise of it for my eldest daughter is allergic to fur
Yes indeed they are a part of your life.
Your fur babies are quite handsome!
I have always had animals in my life, and can’t imagine not having at least one furry friend.
Well they said thank you very much!
I too have always had animals.
Big ”YES”! 🙂 They are a very important part of my life. 🙂
I knew that and thank you for commenting. 🙂
Great photo, very cute fur babies! I do have pets in my life even if we don’t have our own!
Thanks, they are something else.
Yes Runt (my cat) or Runty Dumpty as I like to call him always claims a seat for himself and leaves whoever intended to sit on that chair or what not totally out in the cold. Nonetheless everybody enjoys his antics, his friendliness and his demands for attention and food of course. But, just like you I miss my poor old departed dog Tasha which happened almost three years ago. I still think of her and her gentle attitude, her pulling on the leash (being part Husky and German Shepherd) and also her beautiful eyes (left one blue white and right one brown).
A cute name. Sounds like a typical cat. I love them no matter what they do. Our pets we lose are almost like our children. The pain not as great but very close.
They are relaxing again now in the screen room. The life!
Brendel and the Dude are wonderful cats.
I have to agree, thank you!
It is different for me. Our animals are work animals and while I am attached to them they are not pets. It’s a different kind of relationship.
Farm animals are a good example of that.
