What does bread mean for us? I know that the various countries of the world have different kinds of bread, not everywhere bread is baked in the same way.
For hundreds of years, the bread was a sacred meal; people dried thin slices of bread in preparation for famine, or carry it to sanctify in the church. Housewives on a loaf of bread scratched cross and did not let any crumbs to fall on the table or floor.
Then one day the man got up and no longer wishes to think bread is sacred. A man comes into the shopping mall, going in circles around all shelves of bread and thinks that to eat too much bread is unhealthy…
Correctly bread is a food and medicine, it breathes and shines. What is inserted into a closed plastic bag, is not the bread that our ancestors used to bake.
I stooped to buy bread long ago. Bread on my family table is always fresh, baked at home.

My mom baked bread and I have done so too. I enjoy the smells of freshly baking bread and eating it still hot while the butter melts on it
And I still wish that my Mom would have left a better explaination in her recipe!
I used to bake bread at home but sometimes it happens to buy fresh bread from the bakeries.
