Every morning the fishermen would sing as they prepared their nets. Then they took their boata out and returned with the catch a few hours later.
Editing was done with Luminar Flex. I used the Develop filter to increase the contrasts, whites and clarity. Next I added the Accent AI and Polarizing filters. I used the Tone filter to increase the SmartTone and used the Structure filter to sharpen it a bit. Lastly I used the Saturation / Vibrance filter to increase the vibrance and the Erase tool to get rid of some dust spots.© 1984 Gary J. Sibio. All rights reserved.

They don’t take them out very far. I’d see them go out about 8:30-9:00am and be back about 11:00am.
I love being out and about in nature.
My wife recently read an article about a study which showed that people who periodically spend some time in a wooded area are better able to cope with stress.
That article is very right, Gary. When I lived in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia there were many wooded areas to walk in and those walks were the best ever where all your cares just melted away. Now in Florida where I live there are no woods but there is the beach so the ocean will have to take my stress away.
Beaches are great for that. I live in Chicago about half a mile away from Lake Michigan. We have some great beaches here.

Me too. Unless it’s raining, snowing or just too cold.
I like working outside more but often need to work inside
Every job I’ve ever had was inside ork but I’d rather be outside.

A little later in the day I got to watch them repair their nets. When your life and your livelihood depend on your equipment, you’re going to want to keep them in good shape.

I have happy memories of going fishing with my father also. He was born and raised in New York City so he was clueless when it came to catching anything but it was nice just spending time together.
That is what fishing is all about. The time and forever memories.
