Sharing this feather with Kim’s Color Crazy Sepia challenge. I think it might fit in the sepia category.
Last week I wrote about Found a Feather Lately? It listed different colors of feathers and their possible meanings.
This feather was found last year. The color was unlike any birds I recall. Maybe it was from a red tailed hawk.
Either way, I enjoy the nature all around me and am constantly learning.

Feathers can be a nice thing to find. Do you agree sometimes they are a sign from a loved one perhaps?

My pen always reminds me of how people used it to write. This is a great color.
i think there are many signs that those who love us, guide us and cherish us even though they cannot be with us.
Yes I have to believe, even if it sounds crazy.
when I get really angry, I feel a hand on my shoulder. i believe!
I used to love to collect feathers and trade some for others I didn’t have with my school mates. Your post reminded me of that happy time in life.
That is great you have good memories Dawn. Same here.
I had collected many feathers through the years and now I am sorry I left them all behind. Shortly after my husband died I came home from the store and found two feathers right by my garden gate. He knew I like collecting them and had often brought some home for me. I was so glad to see those feathers.
Those are good memories, even without the feathers, the memories are forever.
That’s such a beautiful color! A truly special feather.
I think it is from a hawk, thanks Ellie.
