I’m quite fascinated by the idea of making a gun that shoots … so I tried to DIY one …
Well … it failed… because well, the parts needs to fit very well and with ice cream sticks, it’s hard to control … I’ve cracked many sticks trying to cut the sticks in half or thinner … (I guess its never easy to lose weight LOL)
Although it wasn’t successful, I still had fun (with some frustrations of course!)… but still I’ve downloaded some template (that make use of cardboards) and I’ll try again! 🙂

We used to put candle wax outside old cotton reels put a rubber band through it and attach it to the ice cream sticks and you wind it up and the cotton reel moves by itself.
Brilliant idea!
Its cool how people are so creative in the “past” whereby they DIY more!

I can’t find anything about the kind I used to make, but you can youtube pen guns and find a bunch of other kinds. Some of them look dangerous to me, exercise caution

avoid rubber bands and go spring loaded is my advice…
