Every Storm That Comes Your Way

Every storm that comes your way doesn’t come to destroy you, some storms force you to clean up.  Well the storm last week has tossed out some containers , torn off some leaves and knocked off some flowers.

Though I was heart broken last week, this week I find myself giving thanks. I am cleaning up my garden little by little, This work had stopped once it started to rain. It’s been four months now. The weeds have been growing tall and strong in plant containers and in all the soil that has been displaced.

One portion of my garden looks tidy, while a large portion is waiting to be cleaned.  This is a picture of a container of dahlberg daisies knocked down to the ground and pomegranate blooms battered and muddied by the storm.

  1. As they say there is a silver lining in every cloud. We had a mini tornado a few years ago that did leave some damage behind but the chopped trees grew better with great yields.

  2. Sometimes the storm cleans out the mess and then you have to start again. I like my mess, I like to go “shopping” in my closet and find the old clothes that I used to love and then I try them on again.
