European soccer poll ~ 7/14/20

There are only two matches in the main European soccer leagues for today, so let’s take a look at the schedule.

English Premier League – Norwich City at Chelsea – 3:15 PM EST (NBCSN).

Italian Serie A – Brescia at Atalanta – 3:45 PM EST (ESPN+).

Nowich City has already been relegated.  Chelsea needs a win because they are looking to secure a Champions League spot.  You can already see where this is goin.

Brescia is in last place in the Serie A.  They are ten points away from escaping the relegation zone, so they need to win now with six games remaining on the schedule.  Unfortunately, Brescia has to travel to 4th place Atalanta, who has not lost a match since the restart.  Plus, a win puts Atalanta in second place.
