I went out this morning, just up to the end of my street and what do I find piles of dog poop everywhere. Does the lock down mean people will not clean up after their pets? How irresponsible is this?
Only we have dogs on our street. The two other dog owners who lived on our street have moved out recently, which means people from other areas have been bringing their dogs here and not cleaning up. It is so annoying, I had to write a notice and put it up on three places on my street. Now I need to watch out and make sure that the pet owners clean up after their pets.
I hate this job, but I’d like to have a walk able lane for those of us living here.

Some people cannot take care of themselves. Those people should not have pets. There needs to be some sort of standardized testing before a person is allowed to have a pet.
I am so on the same page with you. I just can’t take irresponsible pet owners.
I see such irresponsible dog owners in the park opposite my apartment every day. Yesterday (Saturday) I went into a bank. There was dog feces at the inside entrance. Muck. I guess it will be cleaned tomorrow (Monday).
Here due to the lockdown no cleaning happens.
Sorry what I meant was no cleaning on a regular basis happens. The local bodies are working with a 30% staff. It takes a week to for the cleaning to be done.
where we live it is the law – no pick up get a US 400 dollar fine.

we still see dog poop in a lot of places where people don’t bother to pick it up.
My guess is that the owners let out their dogs and let them poop and then called them back and just left the poop where it was. I hope the get fined.
Could be , but I don’t see dogs coming here on their own. There are no fines here for such irresponsible behavior
