The elevator in the building has a capacity of 12 people. But now they are cutting it down to 6 people. I don’t think it is enough but when there are many passengers waiting to take the elevator I guess it is not practical to cut down to 4 passengers.
The protocol inside the elevator aside from the face mask is not talking. Especially when there is a group of people they usually talk with their companions. Now that is a violation of the protocols in the elevator. It is better to be safe than sorry later.

Do you take the elevator in the building?

Yes

It really depends on the size of the elevator. Some of the oldest buildings in Riga, Latvia had elevators that to me were like coffins and barely two people could fit in. They always scared me so I mostly took the stairs.
Aren’t elevators very closed in so no room to move and no room for social distancing. If it is a small elevator I know it would take forever for one at a time to use it, especially if it is slow. I would say how do 6 fit in and they can still social distance?
That elevator looks huge anyway. Here they used to try to squeeze up to 20 people into elevators that size, now they are down to four also.
And the number they used to sardine into buses and into trains here was phenomenally mad too.
At least the virus has made more room on public transport for us riders now.
