Daylight Saving Time Change March 10

Daylight saving time is one of those things that occur that many people like, many people dislike, and quite a few people don’t care one way or the other. It increases the amount of daylight that is available later in the day, but it also decreases the amount of daylight that is available in the morning. That means that people usually have to get up and out of bed an hour earlier.

For quite a few people, the problem isn’t with the time change, it is with getting used to the time change. Yet, for some, there is almost no transition time involved in getting used to it. Many people feel that it is pointless, too, since the days are already getting longer.

It is interesting to note that many farmers don’t feel that they benefit from it, either, though a lot of people who think that it is the farmers who’d benefit the most. The reasoning for the farmers is that they usually work from sun-up to sun-down, so it makes no difference what the clock says.

  • How do you feel about Daylight Saving Time?

    • I don’t like it
    • I don’t mind it
    • It’s okay, but I have a hard time getting used to the time change
    • I like it
    • There is no daylight saving time change where I live
    • Daylight saving time is a conspiracy started by the Great Spaghetti Monster

  1. I’m not a morning person but many people have to wake up early for school or work, and it doesn’t make much sense to make mornings dark for longer.
I don’t like the daylight saving, it’s annoying, and I’m not much into spaghetti either. There might be a correlation. ??

    • LOL…well, a lot of people don’t like it. The biggest complaint I’ve heard, though, is having to switch back and forth. A lot of people wouldn’t mind either standard time or daylight saving time if they just stayed that way all year long.
