This week Kim gave us a heavy task with indigo color !! Indigo color is hard to find in nature. As far as I can remember, there is a species of plant called true indigo from the bean family, which was one of the original sources of indigo dye.
I tried to create indigo color in PS using color picker. In terms of sRGB, indigo color is R = 75, G = 0 and B = 130I got the color in the small square in the photo that is the indigo for WEB color.
Looking for a photo for this contest, I found this photo. The flower in the photo is wild pea flower. I found it in several color variations, pink , yellow and ….this only this one that seemed to me like indigo.( I helped it to look like this!?) By comparing the color of the flower and the color obtained in the PS, it seemed to me to be similar. That’s why I decided to ask for your opinion.

Wow, you did really good with this color edit, dead on in fact. I didn’t expect the original to be so pink. I love sweat peas it is one of my moms favorite plants. The yellow is pretty too, I remember that color from when I was a kid.
I opened my photo folder and asked my BF if this picture is Indigo, and this, and this. hahaha trying to find one with his help.
I agree it is tough to find indigo in nature. Great job!
