Here is my picture for today’s color crazy challenge. Storks in the sky. It was taken at almost midday while I was on a boat trip on the river. The storks were diving and hunting for fish. It was a beautiful day and I am planning to take another trip to the same place sometime soon.
It was at the end of three day road trip and my camera was running out of charge. This was some of the last pictures I could take before the battery died down.
We spent a whole day at the river but I couldn’t take these far away shots, sadly even our phones were dying so we had to preserve them until we reached home.

I have had that happen more times than I would like to admit. My favorite is forgetting to put the disk card in the camera. 😉 Great shot of all those storks together!
Hmm.. I have done that too Kim, gone out without the card. I download the pictures onto my computer and forget about the card sometime. :/
Yup, exactly, and that is where I find mine.. So annoying, and those are always the hikes that I see something never seen, or a rare sunset, etc.
I haven’t had a chance to empty my phone yet … in the worst case I have it in the car charger so I have no problem with it
Good on you, but most of the time we leave the car and go trekking faraway and then realize we are running out of charge. Sometimes I can be real dumb.
I always get well prepared and charge my phone for the whole day, dear friend
I keep extra batteries for the camera in my bag. Lovely blue photo.
Now I have learned my lesson. 😀
