This book is clearly written about night time. The illustrations clearly show that is time to lay down and go that happy peaceful sleep with wonderful dreams.
Bedtime can be tough. The key is a routine and reading the right kind of books can be a big part of that routine. You want the child to be quiet, relaxed and ready for a nice night’s sleep.
Skip the drink of water and replace it with a good book and you find that children will be more likely to go to bed and stay there. (That’s the other key, they stay in bed. If you have to offer them comfort do it from the bedside with them still bed.) Read the book a second time.
