The hawker is where the average locals would usually have their meals, if they decide to eat out. Well, there are a few reasons – they are cheaper and there are many choices.
Depending on location, you can find stalls selling Japanese, Korean, Malay, Indian and Chinese cuisine all in one hawker. Not to forget we also have western food in hawker.
I love one of the Japanese stall in a hawker we frequent! The fact that the bento set is about half or lesser than half the price in a Japanese restaurant but the taste is quite close! The portion is quite generous too!
