Here in India some States have permitted bus travel with certain rules. But those rules are very difficult to follow of which is keeping social distancing.
The bus owners undergo heavy losses as very few passengers are allowed to travel at a time to maintain social distancing but passengers just cannot follow that rule. When they are waiting for the bus and while boarding and alighting that is the time the rule is broken leading to more cases.
Survival is the issue and unless one learns to live with the disease following protocol, the economy will go down in the dumps

During this time all the buses are free to use. I don’t know what the rules are because I have not taken a bus anywhere.
They are not free here and in fact they charge more.
When I pass by a bus and look in I see that people are not sitting together and are social distancing themselves from each other. I have not ridden a bus in a long time so do not know how it is with paying.
One may have to pay more as the owner has to atleast break even. It is when getting in and alighting that they may not be able to maintain social distancing.
