The unseasonal rain a couple of days ago brought to life our bottle brush tree that is now packed with flowers.
This tree got affected by that mini tornado we experienced a few years ago and it took it quite some time to start yielding again.
Before the tornado this tree was a show stopper with every nook and corner of the tree filled with flowers. The name bottle brush is because the flowers resemble a bottle brush.

We have this tree right at the entrance gate.
I have a bottle brush exactly like yours.
The older the tree more flowers will be seen.

That was a rare experience we had. It was a first time for us.
I had one bottle brush but I don’t know what happened because it died.
Ours got chopped off but it came to life.
