Here are bunch of snowy egrets flying back home just before sunset. It is always lovely see birds flying in V formation, which kind of reminds me of discipline and working as a team. The birds that are more energetic take the lead while those that are tired move out to the back so they don’t slow down the others.
The tired ones at the back get a lift from the action of those in front. How amazing is creation.! Looks like every other part of creation except man understands balance better.

It cuts air flow for the geese that are following. They take turns in the lead role as it takes the most effort.
Great picture!
That for adding that Doc, Life would be more livable if we lived like we are all together in this.
what would the world look like if we followed the laws of nature. The interesting question perhaps an article that should be written!
There you go write one. 😀
I think I did a few years ago
Back when I lived in Latvia every autumn I saw birds in formation flying away to warmer lands and it always made me sad but happy when they returned in the spring
Here we seen it almost every evening. I think they go to some lake nearby to feed on the fishes and flock somewhere else.
Very rarely do I succeed taking birds in flight. This is a stunning photo
I love capturing birds in flight, I find that more interesting. Thanks.
